Demos Axiom is a compound term combining two foundational ideas — the voice of the people and self-evident truth. Together, they name the principle that the collective experience of ordinary people is itself a kind of proof.
- Demos (δῆμος)
- From ancient Greek, meaning “the common people” or “the public.” The root of democracy — rule by the people.
- Axiom
- A statement accepted as universally true without proof; a foundational principle. From Greek axíōma, “that which is thought worthy.”
- Together
- A blog grounded in the idea that everyday perspective, story, and observation carries its own authority — no credentials required.
